This policy explains how Creative Dimensions Pty Ltd uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the course of our work. It reflects our commitment to using technology responsibly, keeping our clients’ information safe, and being open about how we operate. It sits alongside our other policies and does not replace them.

Our approach to AI

From time to time we may use AI tools to assist us in delivering our web design, content, hosting and related services. This can include tasks such as drafting and refining written content, generating ideas, assisting with code, improving efficiency, and supporting research. AI is one of many tools we use; it supports our team but does not replace the professional judgement, skill and experience we bring to your project.

Human oversight

A qualified member of our team reviews work produced with the assistance of AI before it is delivered or published. We remain responsible for the services we provide to you, regardless of the tools used to produce them. We do not rely on AI to make final decisions about your project without human review.

Protecting your data and privacy

We take reasonable steps to protect your confidential and personal information when using AI tools. Wherever practical, we design our prompts and workflows so that private, sensitive or identifying data is not unnecessarily exposed to AI tools, and we avoid entering confidential client information into tools that do not offer appropriate protections.

We aim to use reputable and legitimate AI tools from established providers, and we take reasonable care to understand how those tools handle data. However, as with any internet-based service, no method of transmission or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Our handling of personal information continues to be governed by our Website Privacy Policy and Service Privacy Policy.

Accuracy and limitations

AI tools can occasionally produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. While we review AI-assisted work for quality and accuracy, we do not warrant that all AI-assisted output will be error-free. Any information provided as part of our services should not be treated as legal, financial or professional advice unless expressly stated.

Intellectual property

We take reasonable care to ensure that the work we deliver does not infringe the rights of third parties. As set out in our Terms of Service, clients remain responsible for ensuring that any content, media or materials they provide to us are free from infringement and that they hold the necessary rights to use them. Ownership of deliverables continues to be governed by our Terms of Service.

Generative AI for images and media

From time to time we may use generative AI tools to create or edit images, graphics, video, audio or other media used in our work, either as finished assets or as placeholders, mock-ups and concepts during design. Where we do, a qualified member of our team reviews the media before it is delivered or published.

We take reasonable steps to ensure AI-generated media is appropriate for its purpose and does not knowingly infringe the rights of third parties. We aim to use reputable, legitimate tools whose terms permit commercial use of their output, and we avoid submitting your confidential or personal material to these tools unless it is necessary and appropriate to do so.

Generative tools can occasionally produce inaccurate, unrealistic or unintended results. We do not warrant that AI-generated media is a factual representation of any person, place, product or event unless expressly stated, and such media should be understood as illustrative. If you would prefer we do not use generative AI for images or media on your project, just let us know and we will accommodate reasonable requests.

Client choice

We are happy to discuss our use of AI on your project. If you have specific requirements or preferences about how AI tools are or are not used in your work, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

Compliance with Australian law

We use AI tools in a manner intended to comply with applicable Australian laws and regulations, including privacy, consumer protection and intellectual property laws.
